I am the founder and principal of Graphite Communications. I have more than 25 years’ experience of delivering integrated communications campaigns across business and specialisations in the areas of construction & property, hospitality & leisure and professional services.
My proven track record includes more than 20 years as MD, both regionally and nationally, at one of the UK’s leading independent agencies. In that time I acquired deep insights not only into what makes communications work but also into what makes business work. I bring this to every challenge.
I have led integrated communications campaigns for a portfolio of clients that included Hilton Worldwide, Faithful + Gould, Keepmoat, The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), The Big Lunch (on behalf of The Eden Project) and SA Brain & Co. And along the way I have secured numerous awards both for campaigns and in recognition of agency performance.
My built environment specialism has seen me work with some of the best known names in the sector and I’m certainly not afraid of getting my boots muddy. Clients have included Land Securities, Hammerson, Barhale, Faithful+Gould, BAM Nuttall, numerous housebuilders and planning and development work delivering schemes as diverse as shopping centres and gas terminals.
I am a former external examiner to Cardiff University’s Centre of Journalism Studies, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and have been a long-term inclusion in PR Week’s Powerbook.
Graphite Communications is a member of the Public Relations Communications Association (PRCA).
